To follow on with our summer wedding theme we thought it would be a good idea to show not only our butterfly invitations which were blogged last week but also our flower themed designs to give you all more choice in those beautiful summer weddings many of you are planning.

Lets get into it straight away with ‘Astoria’

This is a stunning pocket fold wedding invitation in a pearlescent shimmer card in your choice of colour with a gorgeous gold and white enamal flower clasp, open the pocket fold and inside holds your wedding details adorned with crystals and backed with a sparkle encrusted vellum, at the bottom, held in the pocket is an rsvp and envelope.

Next we have ‘Rose’ this is a card boxed wedding invite

Simple but full of wedding glamour, a side opening wedding invitation with your names elegantly centred on the front wrapped with ribbon of your colour choosing and adorned with a crystal centred rose. Roses come in ivory, red or pink but the ribbon is any colour you need for your special day.

Then we have the luxurious silk box designs, to start we have ‘Silk Decor’

This wedding invitation begins with a silk box, handcrafted pad and wedding details in your chosen font. It is then ornately decorated with printed vellum, ribbon crystals, feathers and a beautiful enamal flower. The lid detaches completely and is decorated on top with ribbon to match the inside. Design comes with rsvp and reply envelope, tissue wrap and postal box.

And then ‘Orchid’

This wedding invitation begins with a beautiful silk box, handcrafted satin pad and wedding details in your chosen font. Beautiful silk orchids are the embellishment of this lovely invitation, with their glittering crystal drop centre held in with ribbon. Finally a brand new silk box design ‘Rose Garden’

This beautiful silk box wedding invitation has a hinged lid, a silk base and overlayed with your wedding details,silk organza ribbon, jaquard double satin ribbon and roses to create a perfect english garden theme, with a little touch of pearl to add detail. Its summer time!!! Not that you would recognise it being August in the UK and so far the wettest month of the year it seems. But never the less this is peak months for weddings. What theme to go for? That is the big question and many this year have gone for the beautiful butterfly to add a little vitality to their wedding theme. Even though we have been asked to add butterflies to many of our designs we have a couple that have been made specially to work with this lovely summery idea.

Firstly we have ‘Butterfly’

This super wedding invitation is a glimmering pocket design embellished with a super handcrafted beaded butterfly. Inside your wedding details sit aloft butterfly embossed shimmer paper and in the pocket below is an rsvp and reply envelope. Crystals are also used to add that extra touch of sparkle. It is shown in ivory and pale pink in the picture but can be made in any colour to suit your choices.

Next we have ‘Flutter’

Pearlescent shimmer card pocket wedding invitation decorated with silver or gold filigree butterfly and adorned with crystals. The vellum is decorated with a silver pattern of leaves and flowers, to delicately set of the front of the design. Inside are your wedding details and below in the pocket there are 2 information cards and an rsvp with envelope. The wave design cut into the pocket gives it a completely different feel from any other pocket design and makes this invite truly unique. Shown in ivory and silver ut can be made in any colour to suit your choices.

Lastly we have a beautiful silk box design ‘Summer’

This wedding invitation begins with a beautiful silk box, handcrafted satin pad and wedding details in your chosen font. Your wedding details are double backed and decorated with small cut butterfly and crystals, on the right is a stunning crystal design butterfly accentuated with crystals and tiny cut butterfly versions. Design comes with rsvp and reply envelope, tissue wrap and postal box. An absolutely gorgeous finish to our butterfly theme.

Finally I have got myself sorted, it has been manic to say the least. Thank you to all the lovely couples I have worked with this year so far, it has been a pleasure. There is a plan to write in this blog more often as I have so many new ideas and designs to share I hope that some of them are of interest to some of you, but remember as we are handcrafted we can add to or take away from any design to make it perfect for you and your special day.

Anyway enough blurb, I have a few new designs to show you, we are working on a vintage theme again. Our original design which has been our most popular this year is ‘Splendour’

A twist on the usual side opening wedding invitation, this is a three fold card, beautifully overlayed with a silk paper hand embossed with a pattern in champagne and ivory with a glitter encrusting. Inside holds your wedding details backed with the same silkpaper and to the right a pocket which holds an information card for you to tell your guests whats important and also an rsvp and envelope.It still seems hugely popular and I get asked for it more than ever at the moment, however it often comes with a twist of a very modern colour.

The new vintage theme is still as beautiful as ever but has a modern twist, the colour. I have been asked to mix these lovely papers and cards with bright acidic colours or deep dark ones. Complete opposites but saying that they are working well and couples are loving them.

Firstly we have ‘Antique’

This wedding invitation is made from a vellum wallet which is embossed with a lovely antique floral design. It is then embellished with ribbon to add colour and crystals to add a little sparkle. Inside is a side opening invitation with your names and date on the front and inside are your wedding details. The colour is added with the ribbon on the front but with the way this vellum pocket works you can see the bright colour of the card through the floral design giving it a super 3d effect. Of course this can be made in any colour to suit your day this is just an example of the bright colour twists.

Then we have ‘Grace’

This wedding invitation is made from tri fold opening card held closed by a lovely satin rosette style embellishment and the card is covered in a shimmer designed floral vintage paper. Inside to the right in the pocket are two information cards and an rsvp. The wedding details are centrally placed and raised and adorned with little pearls in the corners. This wedding invitation is boxed. This time the colour is a deep dark plum but shows off the paper perfectly and gives it a truly rich feel.

Its a shame that photos aren’t more realistic as the papers on all of these designs are beautiful and really cannot be seen well from photographic representation, however it does give you an idea of the themes and invitations we are producing. The New Year came in and what a bang it came in with.

Trying to keep up with you all and write the blog has proven a little bit of a struggle, as you will know nothing since October, but I promise there will be more to come and I hope, plenty to interest you all.

Thank you to all the customers out there that have bought and appreciated my samples as we are unindated with orders and we have some super colour combinations coming in this year.

Definately not just one colour couples out there but  beautiful flowing colour schemes throughout the stationery. Orange and blue, strange but true and worked beautifully in the final product. Lime green and cerise, another very stunning colour combination, with everything else at the wedding in white this was a eye catcher and once I get some pictures from the couple I will show you all how lovely it really was.

We have many plans for new designs and we will most definately be extendingour silk box designs range as these have proven very popular over the last year. We will be updating the blog with designs as and when they are completed.

Our wedding bridal boxes are a real success, they are very beautiful and have been appreciated by many of our couples, its easy as they can be in any colours you like as they are made to order, makes things a little special.

We have another super spangley design for October.

‘Astoria’ is glitzy and glam but with beautiful sophistication. Made from shimmer pocket fold and glitter patterned vellum with a stunning front flower clasp. Choice of colours in card as always and if you decide its the design for you there are many other choices, such as lettering styles.

If its simple style you are after you could always go for this beautiful design. Waldorf is a simply sophisticated design made from tiers of solid thick board, gorgeous gold or silver embossed papers and pearls to adorn.
